Communities and local school systems around the country are working collaboratively in new and creative ways to help make schools safer for students. Effective strategies include communitywide and schoolwide efforts that promote healthy child development and reduce school violence and drug abuse.
The February Satellite Town Meeting will feature people and programs that are implementing tailored strategies, focused on prevention, intervention and accountability.
